Mama's check up............

Just wanna share mama's experience for maternal check up
- so far the process is not too fussy as what mama thought like in Malaysia.....

17th June- first time met midwife and open the record book(here.......... it have been called as 'pregnancy notes'- important as red book in Malaysia and made appointment for midwife home visit....)

28th June- supposedly midwife came home but unfortunately, she was unavailable to come, the other date has been confirmed;3rd July 2010.....

3rd July-as second time; the other midwife came house and explain the basic about impotant information about pregnancy and takes some important medical history from mama.She also took some blood test and urine test.Since mizah is so cautios with her action, she asked to came nearest 'sure start community centre' next week for another blood taken.

6th July-mama went to 'woodville sure start community centre' for gave the blood to midwife as requested....

15th July-since mama's blood result is Hb E carrier, abah also have to give his blood to ensure no 'complication' will happen after this.....

23th July-First 'dating scan' by sonographer at North Manchester General Hospital, just 5 minutes procedure, very fast and efficient!!!!!!!!!!!!!our new member is good and well condition, alhmadulillah....

19th Aug- As third time; Check up by midwife at GP and result from abah's blood was given. Abah is not Hb E carrier..so our new member most probably is safe; insyaallah!!!!!!!!!!!!another urine test has taken and some 'swab procedure' for mama's minor problem(less immunity system in mama's body) have been taken; get another prescription; ferrous tablet@iron tablet- before this already got it; this is continous prescription; mama also got folic acid as supplementary tablet since first time check up in June by GP.....

4th Nov-fourth time check up by midwife; insyaallah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
